¿Es cierto?
La construcción
de isn't it? corresponde a No es cierto? ( cierto?).
El auxiliar y
el pronombre son invertidos a la forma
interro-negativa:
-Susie is quite sexy, isn't she? Susie es muy sexy, no es cierto?
-Bob works in the IT department, doesn't he? Bob trabaja en el departamento de informática, no es cierto?
-They can win the cup, can't they? Ellos pueden ganar la copa, no es cierto?
-Bob works in the IT department, doesn't he? Bob trabaja en el departamento de informática, no es cierto?
-They can win the cup, can't they? Ellos pueden ganar la copa, no es cierto?
- You are sick, aren't you? Estás enfermo,¿ no es cierto?
-He is a lawyer, isn't he? El es abogado, no es cierto?
-You slept a lot, didn't you? Tú dormiste un montón, no es cierto?
-You have eaten enough, haven't you? Has comido bastante, no es cierto?

Si la frase es negativa, entonces el auxiliar es afirmativo:

-You haven't eaten, have you? No has comido, cierto?
-He is not a lawyer, is he? El no es un abogado, cierto?
